On February 18, at “Leader Talk: An Phat’s Road” at An Phat Bioplastics, The Chairman of An Phat Holdings Mr. Pham Anh Duong had an enthusiastic speech with 150 employees as managers of subsidiaries regarding An Phat Holdings’ development orientation. It is a green path, specifically the segment of biodegradable plastic materials called PBAT, which will be An Phat Holdings’ long-term strategy.
At the talk show, Mr. Pham Anh Duong specified short-term and long-term strategies. He also emphasized that development associated with high technology is the core value on the path of development.
The COVID-19 pandemic has changed a lot of people’s consumption and living habits and also deeply affected the economy in Vietnam and the world. This is the important moment that An Phat Holdings’ employees have to change to adapt to the situation. Take the specific examples in Vietnam and the world market. Which way will An Phat Holdings change?
Currently, Mr. Pham Anh Duong notices the world is moving towards the trend of using green products and materials to reduce plastic waste. Therefore, the development of the PBAT bioplastic material line will be the main and long-term path of An Phat Holdings.
Until now, An Phat Holdings still has many advantages in developing bioplastics, including owning a PBAT factory in Korea, patents, technology, research and development… Therefore, owning the source of raw bioplastic materials will help the group be a master of production to anticipate the strong demand in domestic and international markets.
Besides green materials, industrial park real estate will be the field that An Phat Holdings wants to focus on. But the group does not develop the industrial park in the usual way but instead builds a self-contained ecosystem. Real estate development does not stop at buying and selling land, but also develops toward supporting industries, forming a development chain in an industrial park.
